On 11 February we celebrate the Women and Girls in Science Day and Bosonit joins the day proclaimed by the UN in 2015.
Science and gender equality are vital to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At Bosonit we support this Women and Girls in Science Day to generate greater participation and inclusion of women and girls in the world of science and technology and thus break the gender gap.
It was enacted to give a voice and a place to women and girls around the world and to give them a leading role in certain areas of science that are essential for human development.
In recent years, the international community has made great efforts to inspire and promote the participation of women and girls in science. However, women continue to face obstacles in the field of science.
